Chelsea Market is a building rich in history dating back as far as the 1890's and is originally known as the National Biscuit Company complex.

Throughout the years, the building went through multiple design changes and was originally designed by Romeyn & Stever. As time went by, two other staff architects for the National Biscuit Company created updated designs by Albert G. Zimmerman from 1905-1912 and then later on in 1932 by Louis Wirshing, Jr.

Fast-forward to the 1990’s, an investor by the name of Irwin Cohen, reinvented Chelsea Market. The upper floors of this building is currently renting office space for the Oxygen Network, Food Network, MLB.com and the local New York City cable station NY.
